Default Anyone here paintball??

Was just wondering if anyone here plays paintball. If so what kind of marker\gun do use? And what paint do you like best?

My boyfriend just bought an Inver mini, that thing is wicked haha and mine is a Stryker EMX 1000 and its gilry pink!!! but it gets the job done. Still havent found a paint we really like using yet though.

^^^ My wife has the very same gun (stryker) she loves it! I have a Tippmann 98 Custom with a response trigger, cyclone feeder, and Apex barrell. We mostly Play woodball. I mainly used Tactical performance paint for that.

Nice haha yea Rob has the same gun as you too but he wanted to upgrade haha. So is that tactical have a pretty tuff shell? We bought some um i dont remember the brand but they were blue shell yellow paint, anyways they were soft and melted in our hoppers after only 5 minuets into play. Then we tried some spyder paint and they were hard as rocks and didnt bust but maybe 1 out of every 20 we shot hahaha

I use to do it alot before I could drive. I use to have a Angel IR3 but sold it to help pay for my first car. A lot of fun especially when you have 100 acres to roam I do it every once and a while now but just use someone elses gun.

i have never had any problem with the tactical performance paint. Every now and again i would have a few that would bust in the barrell but other that that its good stuff. Im trying to remember the name of the paint i used last year. It was some badass stuff. Black and green was the color. That **** wasnt cheap either. But i cant find it anywhere now.

Your thinking of Marbalizers most likely. I used to only use them but there to hard if it's cold outside. I've been hit probally 20 to 30 times with them and noth have them bustn even on bare skin. Great ***** for flatline barrels.

depends on what im doing. If im dicking around then some bullshit old paint from walmart will do the trick. If im playing seriously, something a little more expensive.

Paint is about size to bore match on the barrel. the better the fit the smaller the grouping will be when you shoot.

Also, the idea that Marbalizers are harder then anything else is a myth. all paint hurts the same coming out of the gun at 300fps. Also, frozen paintballs will kill a person if you can get them to shoot before breaking the gun. The original dye matrix will chrono alot higher then alot of other markers. Ive gotten mine up to 800fps, and heard of people getting higher. This isnt legal to play with on a field, but its fun to shoot a tree.

yup.

Very important thing about paint. It cant sit for long periods of time. If you buy from walmart, expect bad paint. The paint will settle to one part of the shell and the shell will deform and become an oval instead of a circle.

if you are going to play at a field, the paint will more likely be cheaper and fresher. They sell more paint and rotate their boxes to make sure it doesnt settle.

Hope that helps
