I would pass. Like Nine said, the paint looks like it wasn't taken care of. I'd also run away from a Vette with nitrous. There's no telling what kind of abuse that car has seen and $20k is a lot to shell out for a car that might have serious reliablity issues. You could spend a little more and get an unmolested C5 Z06.

I would look for a stock Z06. I would never buy a modded one unless you look to put a new motor in it in the near future. Not a bad price though.

Buying a car like that your taking a huge gamble, even if it's built right, its a modified car, no telling what could let go and it really isn't any ones fault, just the name of the game. So essentially you bought a 20K roller.

If your looking for modded try to find one with just CAI and full exhaust. Those are the only items that have the corvette tax on them, because there corvette specific. Heads, cam, intake, ect. can all be bought for regular prices.

This is just my opinion btw, you can do whatever you want with your money. Just food for thought.

Jon, i have already thought about the full exhaust. I dont want to fool around with installing headers/x/catback or a vararam this time around.

The only reason i was looking at that particular one was because i have a friend who can sell me a LME built 408 for next to nothing, and i would be able to just swap all the parts off the top end of that motor over, assuming the parts are good to go.

Thats a good looking car. Are you particularly looking for a black car?

black is the color for me. I want to stay miles away from Torch Red or Millennium Yellow for sure. And a blue car is just not my taste. That pretty much leaves black or white. Either will do, but leaning more towards black.

forgot about pewter, its okay IMO, but not looking at that unless someone just has a badass deal on an FRC in pewter

The last one you posted looks nice. It has sport seats which are nicer IMO then the standard FRC/Z06 seats.

Looks like he tried to paint the rear fascia though...

I dont know. Some people dont change them. all a airbridge does in my opinion is drain the wallet. I have a carbon fiber one on my car and it is like 250-300 bucks. If it wasnt alrready there when I baught the car i wouldnt have but a stock one either.
