i need some ideas ok so here is my problem i own a 2001 T/A and im lookin to buy a 4cyl beater car park the T/A and sell it and my rents said they wont let any more cars in the drive way (we have a 97 Z28 a 68 RS Camaro, 06 Cobalt SS/SC a 06 HHR a 07 Avalanche and my 01 T/A) there are 4 of us here me my brother and my parents, my mom said she wont let me get the beater until i sell my car now the 97 Z28 was my car before i bought the T/A.
I gave it to my parents to keep since i bought it and i just told my mom my idea and she got all mad sayin insurance for another car no room etc.. so i opted to finish what i had goin into the Z28 (RR's,Cam, Springs, Shorty headers, full exhaust) an sell my T/A then have no car payment etc so i can save up a nice Down payment for a 08/09 Caddy CTS or a Pontiac G8.
Which do you guys think would be the smarter move?
also i found an 02 Cavalier the just needs to have the motor put back together an put back in for 300 bucks

it will be like 500 bucks to put the Z28 back together
