Camaro at state fair
This is nothing new. Almost every new car in the last 8 years that wasn't designed in the early 90's has had side impact airbags as an option at least.
Thats not the concept version that has been viewed everywhere that looks much nicer, its the production version and its just the RS not the SS.
I wouldn't say that the concept looked much nicer as the production car is a near carbon copy of the concept on the outside. There's also nothing that really distinguishes the SS from the RS visually except for the badging and the slightly different front bumper.
