Need some opinions... Alright here is the deal, I have a 99 Z28 A4...mods are as follows..
LT's
3 in Duals
LS6 intake
Lid
all free mods
3.73's
the first time the car went to the track modded it was lowered and i only had the LT's and a open Y....car ran a best of 13.00 @ around 108...
had a track trip yesterday...the day before we had installed the gears and I used a Hypertech tuner to change the gear ratio in the computer and also bumped up the line pressure for firmer shifts....first pass the car hit the limiter hard in the 1-2 shift and went a 13.01 @109.79......so i adjusted the shift point ran again and no limiter this time but the car ran slower...technically with this setup the car should run 12's all day long...given it was hot as **** and i was on street tires but still....it ran a 13.00 without gears, you'd think I could go 12's now....
anyways...the car has 100,000 miles on it now and i was just wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what could be happening
right now im thinking either
A) the tranny is starting to slip
B) it just needs a REAL tune to be 100%
C) poss that the stock 02's could have had something to do with it..
any thoughts?

Get it dyno tuned. My car with those mods did about the same, the real kicker is the stall converter. That was the biggest difference changer! Are the duals dumped below the axle or do they come out the back? Why I ask is had a tru dual system "dumped" before. Later I found out that Tailpipes can improve performance and control sound when they are designed correctly. As a rule, Flowmaster says tailpipes should be a minimum of 10 inches and no longer than 6 feet. After I put tail pipes on it the car dynod 5-10hp more, as to say I was questioning it too.

duals are dumped at the axle...guess i need to look into a full tune soon..I know its still running a bit rich from the headers and intake.......i'll possible have a stall goin in sometime soon, nothing huge...but i know thats the number one mod for a auto..
