There's always people selling their broken 360s on ebay. They also sell parts on there.

ide like to buy up the local stuff that i could maybe pick up before i hit ebay.

fix mine
whats wrong with it... I can always try. I fixed my first one monday, and been playing on it eversince.

its wearing a ring in the actual disc. Iunno what it is...Xbox wants me to ship it in and wait about a month for it

Ship it to them... that disk drive is effed, and it sounds dumb but u cant just swap the disk drives.

Nah I had the 3 rings You have a broken disk drive. In order to replace the disk drive you have to replace the board, The cost of those 2 items is more than buying a new box.

your xbox is under warrenty for 3 yrs from the day u buy it///even if u didnt buy the store warrenty..i just talked to the arabs about it lol

I thought they only extended the warrenty for 3 years for the red ring...? Be cool if they extended the whole thing.

I just sent mine in and got it back in 1 week for the 3-ring problem. They told me the 3 year deal is only good to fix the red ring of death, 1 year applies to the rest of the box. They are extremely fast with fixing it, and reasonable too I believe. I boxed mine up and shipped it out myself, instead of waiting for the UPS thing from them, saved a little time.

The place you'll ship it to is in TX, so it should save some time there as well.
