looking to start something new
looking to start something new i want to take a break from school and the general grind of my current life. i was looking at some off shore work. i was curious as to how you would go about getting in with something like that. the jobs. the pay. etc...
How much further do you have in school? Are you looking to quit because your grades suck or because you're burned out?
I ask because once you quit, it's VERY hard to go back. You have to make DAMN sure you're willing to never go back, because that is far more likely than you might think.

im burned out bad. i feel like i would rather just start working hard to make myself money. i dont have the drive for school. i feel better and more motivated and have more vigor when im doing work.
Get your education first. There is nothing more important in this world than your education. You'll find a better job with more education. I'm not saying you won't find a job if you don't complete school. But the odds of landing a job that you would have if you graduated are slim to none if you drop out. I've felt what you are going through. Just set your priorities straight, and you'll be good.
