Default need help, plug wire #8

Who can help, and how hard is it to pull a broken plug wire (wire pulled out of the boot) on #8. My driveway is gravel and can't get the car up high enough on stands. I've tried contacting G-force--sent them a PM this weekend with no response as of yet.

I always pull the coil packs off and get at it from the top. Sounds like that might work better for you, since you can't get to it from the bottom.

^^^^^ X2

Remove the coil pack to get it off and reinstall the back plug wire before reinstalling the coilpack.

He would be talking the entire coil rail, the back bolt is the hardest but will give you a wealth of new room to work with

I have a concrete driveway and some jackstands if you can get the car over here. Chances are that my hands/arms are larger than yours so I wont be able to help in that sense but you are free to use my driveway.

I'll try getting it by removing the coil pack first, but if need be I'll take you up on that.

Didn't get to mess with it last night. Was doing some more tarp work to my house's roof. Planning on looking at it tonight. I know this is going to make me sound like a major noob, and I've searched, but what is the best way to get off the 4th and 5th bolts to the coil pack rail? I was able to get the first 3 out, but the last 2 were giving me fits, although I didn't really try much, by that time was already quite aggravated.

You're right, you do sound like a newb...lol. Just use a small 1/4" ratchet w/ a deep socket 10mm. Although I don't see how you couldn't just pull it off from the top, I'm 230lbs and I can get my fat arm back there...lol.

Just stick your arm in from the front along the top of the header... Your arm will come out all bloody, but it will get the job done.

Or you can do it the easy way and remove everything in the way like others have said.

Well, thanks for all those that helped. Pulling the coil packs helped ALOT to get it out from the top. Just now I feel like a dumbass for not taking the coilpacks off in the first place.
