How to use VSC Tool?
How to use VSC Tool? So I may just be stupid... but trying to use valve spring compressor tool that I bought at auto parts store.. and can figure it out.
Looks like this....
The bottom hooks go towards the bottom of the spring... does it have to go under the entire spring? and then the top hooks that push down go on top of the spring?
Tried it and cant seem to get it to grab the spring right and I dont want to jack up the springs.. the are dual spring and I am trying to get them off to sell/trade.

Well, are the heads still on the car? If so, I doubt that will work at all for the back 2 cylinders on each side due to the cowel.
If you have the heads off the car, get a clamshell spring compressor, the one that looks like a big c-clamp.
