any hardware store or you can get a engine leveler type from most auto parts stores or jegs

ACE, Home Depot, Lowes...anywhere where there is a decent hardware store. Get more than you think you'll need...you can always cut it shorter.

Pick up a leveler, makes things easier. bolt up the leveler, hook it to hoist and off you go.

If you're lifting an LS engine, a couple companies make lift plates that bolt to the upper valley, I bought one made by QTP from Summit for under $60
