An early X-mas Gift!!!! I told my grandfather that I had to go to Napa the other day to get my pinion bearing pressed off and well I went and came back and got my car put back together and then this morning I go to the shop and walk in and a brand new hydraulic press is sitting there still wrapped in plastic!!!! I haven't talked to him about it and I dunno if it was planned to be a X-mas present but I'm damn sure glad he got it!

I had to buy my own from harbor freight, good price and good for the small things I do, like gears. Kinda big to have in my small garage but I will be upgrading the garage size real soon hopefully.
I had the same problem as you - damn pinion bearings, and all the shops around here were all to busy to help me out so that pretty much sealed the deal to get my own. Next up is a mig welder from summit racing for 249.00
hopefully I can con-vince the family I need it for my christmas present.

Yeah I need a mig welder TOOOO. I think I'm gunna convince my dad into one of those soon. He wants one and they are handy and hell it would be worth it b/c around here your gunna pay out the *** to have subframe connectors welded up, etc. and I currently need 2 sets welded in so that would be enough to pay for a mig welder!
