Are LS1 Kent Moore Engine Tools good for LS2?

Hi Guys,

Picking up some tools before a rebuild. Couple of full Kent Moore engine tool kits about for the LS1. Is there much difference with the LS2. In particular do the cover alignment tools fit both?

Any guidance much appreciated.

The balancer and flywheels are the same fit, so yes you can use that tool for your LS2 rebuild.

I used the LS1 kit on my LS2 front, rear cover alignment tools,seal installers,as stated above the balancer,flywheels are the same as well.
