Default Casters

A factory is going out of business in town here and they're selling off a bunch of the crap that's in the place. I've been on the lookout for a steel table for a while now and I stumbled on to one in this place.

But there's a catch...

It's 4x8 which is good, but it's 1" thick. Yes, 1" thick.

My question is, where's a good place to find super heavy duty casters for a table that weighs as much as this one. I'd have to make room for the forklift in the shop every time I wanted to move it otherwise.

Merry Christmas

I bought my casters for my 4x8 welding table from McMaster Carr. Mines only 3/8 thick but they got some really heavy duty casters.
Try MSC also. Good Luck

My 3 are 1 1/8" thick, I used steel casters from northern, 1000 lb capacity ea.

You do know that a 4X8 1" thick steel plate will weigh ~1310 lbs alone right? Plus any framework underneath to support that weight, plus what you put on top. Just be careful

edit: Just saw you have a forklift, still, be careful.

Tractor Supply has a bunch to pick from.

Steel ones are best for concrete floors etc.
