Default cut my car in half?

Okay I have no idea what section this belongs in cause I cant find any info on this. Mods move this if I am wrong but this falls under fabrication work lol. What, where, how much should you cut off the front of an F-body? I am trying to loose as much weight as I can. I can cut, weld, and fab no problem but I dont want to get greedy and cut too much. Anyone have some good advise that has a car running deep 10's or faster?

I cut mine right in front of the strut towers. reduced weight by 120 pounds or more after fabricating my front section.
