wire welder

I picked up my first wire welder a few weeks back. I found a great deal on ebay; it's a Hobart 140. Between work and school I finally found some time to play with the settings and do some exhaust work on the Firebird. This was my first attempt at welding exhaust pipe. I have some experience on 220v welders and wasn't sure if I would like the 110v, but so far it's welding great on thin metal what it was intended for.

good looking weld 110v machines weld just as good as 220v machines on thinner metals they just have lower duty cycles

Love my HH140, as long as you don't try to do things too ambitious, it's a great machine.

It's a real champ for sheetmetal work and portability. Anywhere you have 110v you can weld.

Heck, I made a set of headers with an old Lincoln 110A a few years back, now I have a 140A.

Anything over 3/16 and just use flux core wire or get out the sticks.
