Default torque wrench recommendation

I have some craftsman torque wrenches with the plastic handle that I've had for the last 10-15 years. I'm looking to upgrade to something more sturdy, the grips have gotten loose and although I can lock it, I don't like how it's working and don't know if I can trust it. I'd like something that's all steel, including the handle.

I'm looking for something online I can order, if anyone has had any good experiences.

The Precision Instruments torque wrenches get rave reviews from the guys on the Garage Journal tool board ......

Might want to do a search over there for other suggestions:

http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/ then go to the general tool discussion forum.

That tool forum can be dangerous ($ that is) if you're into cool or unique tools

Check out CDI torque wrenches, made by Snap On, can be calibrated and each come with a certificate of calibration. Much less than Snap on too, I bought a 1/4" in lbs wrench form them for my fbody work and it is Annice lil precision instrument, makes my 3/8 & 1/2 craftsman feel like junk. IMHO.
