They've gotten me through poly motor mounts, headers, intake swaps, a window motor replacement, and a fairing swap on my bike. Gotta start somehwere right?

Just two summers ago I could fit all my tools into a handymans tool box, all crammed in a jumbled mess. I'd even rip apart my car in the parking lot at my work, up on rhino ramps and jackstands.

You're on the wrong forum for this, try 'myflamingfriends.com'.

BTW, my previous post was to show how ridiculous it is to be overly concerned with posting tool box pics on this forum. Chill out dude. Think about all the build threads that show a hell of a lot more than toolboxes. If a thief wants it bad enough, he'll find a way to get it.

It's definitely a handy to have a set like that in the car. I had a starter in my 91 camry go out on me at work. I was parked in a two hour zone so I walked down to Advance about 13 blocks away, bought a starter and swapped it out right there on the spot. Saved cab fair home, ticket, and posssibly a tow. I was in downtown Roanoke at the time and I got some strange looks wearing dress clothes working under hood of a car in 5 o'clock traffic.

I'm drooling over these toolbox sets, having that many tools would save me a lot of improvising

I have a couple of HF boxes. They aren't that great but they are fairly new. I work in the shop a lot but can't imagine spending the dough on one of the Snap on boxes.

I've always had my dad's Snapon/Mac tools to use, but finally decided to start my own collection so I wouldn't have to use all of his stuff all the time. I just started collecting basic stuff since Christmas, everything pictured totals out to around $300:

wrenches are all in the top of the black box, need to pick up an assortment of pliers and screwdrivers still

nothing crazy, but it's enough for most little jobs. Mostly craftsman/harbor freight. I also have a nice jack/jackstands, torque wrench, and a quality compressor. actually just dropped my trans last week with all my own tools which was kind of nice. not a big job but collecting tools seems endless so it was nice knowing I was getting somewhere with my collection hahah.

EDCMAT-L1Has a very very nice box. I like it way better than the Mac Tool box, it had way too much stuff going on.

Just downgraded... went from a 240 a month payment to PAID OFF... not the best box in the world but it works for now...
From this

to this... Its a Lowes KOBALT stainless steel box... Not nearly as nice as the Snap-on, but at 5000 less im OK with that for now. Sold my box, paid it off and ad enough left over to pay cash for this... Made out pretty good...

It's nice to go from having a payment to not having a payment. Believe me I know. Luckily with my box I only have a payment of 180 a month, but the Snap-On guy doesn't play about his money. Here's my box in the old shop I used to work at(when I had a job) on one of my slow days when I was toying with my car. And a pic of me leaving when I got laid off. Box has 4 wheels for a reason. I'm gonna need a bigger box REAL soon.
