Default Floor Jack

I have a great floor jack and have had it for 6 years. It has never failed on me. I noticed though while under my car that the jack was slowly letting the vehicle down. So I tried to pump it back up to get the jack stands under it. Now it dosnt want to work for me no more. :-(... is there anywhere to get a jack rebuilt? I live in NC. I love this thing and it has been under every one of my 14 vehicles. Thanks

There's a local place near me that repairs air compressors and pneumatic/hydraulic equipment that rebuilds jacks. I think I paid around $50 for mine. Search online and see if you can find some place local that will do it. You don't want to pay shipping on a floor jack lol.

Have you tried to change the hydraulic fluid on your jack?

I tried but it got everywhere. I need to let it fully decompress and try it. It cant be too hard to handle.

Just make sure no air gets in there, it could turn into a bigger issue.
