MOSFET vs IGBT welders This article explains the differences and major advantages of IGBT welders as opposed to the MOSFET transistor models.

I had bought one of the mosfet machines that was welder and plasma machine. Was great for about 10 rods the just stoped working.7 machines later i told them to keep it and sell it to some other sucker!
