Default Air Compressor Noise reduction

Anyone have any success stories in regards of taking their noisy-*** air compressors and making them quieter than a snoring cocker spaniel? I was thinking a soundproofed room, but apparently I have to figure out some sort of air flow system... I am hoping for 60DB or better.....

Build a gog house to put it in outside. Or a foam lined box to slip over it. It will draw in enough air not to cause a problem.

I plan to build a little lean-to on the back of the garage with a little space heater in it for the winter. That would definitely meet your 60dB requirement, at least in the garage.
