Default Folding Mirrors!

Here's an idea for you fabbers!

Folding door mirrors! I've looks at a few different folding mirrors, from a few different car, to see which would be the closest to ours, primarily the T/A , and the Chevy Malibu looks like a winner!

Found them on an ebay listing. I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to figure it out.

Think this is in the wrong section... Would go good in the paint and body section. Are you going to buy these and fabricate adapter brackets for the fellow Bird owners to buy? Looks like you might need to do some fiberglass work and/or cutting to make the mounting area smaller. The door mounting plate looks massive compared to the 4th gen Firebird/TA plate mounting area, and also has a horizontal body line running through it that wouldn't line up on a Firebird/TA.

Also, European export Firebirds and Trans Ams had folding mirrors, but they were square and looked rather ugly. Sometimes you can find them for sale in Europe.

I figured this would be the place to put it since it fabrication. I don't plan on making them for anyone, just tossing out cool ideas, to play with
