Harbor Freight Media Blaster
Harbor Freight Media Blaster I was wanting to pick up a media blaster, something to blast clean the paint and rust off my GMC Truck and maybe the paint off my WS6.
Is anyone using a BF setup and what kind should I get? I'm confused as to the parts I need and all that PSI and Per Minute thing.

I myself have eyed the HF blasting cabinet myself. I did see on GarageJournal I think where one of the guys just said to take extra care putting it together and making sure you get it sealed real good, but other than that it works fine.

I have the Harbor Freight standing cabinet and it does its job just fine. I replaced the gun with a TP tools gun and it works a lot better than what came in the cabinet. I sealed all of the seams in the cabinet with silicone-free caulk and I hooked up a vacuum to the cabinet with a 5 gallon bucket water filter to clear the dust out. I usually blast at around 80psi.
If you are looking to blast outside of a cabinet, a pressure pot would be best.
Make sure your air compressor is up for it though, I have a 60 gallon tank with 12cfm@90psi and my compressor still runs every 5 minutes using the cabinet.
