Something useful atleast to me Long story short- I have 3 inch tall valve covers with no internal guides when trying to install them, but the passenger side one has be be removed to swap out spark plugs. I tend to foul out plugs often since the car sets a lot. Needless to say it taking the valve cover off makes spark plugs a quick job since i have longtubes and no AC. But it takes twice as long to put the dame valve cover back on.
Fast forward to late last year at work, we were working on a project and a co worker had an endoscope (pencil head sized camera with led's on the end of a long cable) which helped with what we were doing tremendously but it had a usb plug on the other end so you could just plug it up to a laptop. I though that was the coolest thing since sliced bread but having looked into borescopes and such and seeing their prices i dismissed it. I got bored the end of January and was surfing ebay and decided to look this thing up. To my absolute surprise it was $13.80 shipped with a 5m cable (little over 15ft)!
Even if i only use it twice it was worth the asking price! comes with a minidisc with the software to install on any windows laptop.
Just thought i would share as this maybe helpful to others as well

I was looking at one tonight at Home Depot that has a handheld drill looking thing with a little led screen on it. Was pretty cool but the picture wasn't real clear. It was a display so I'm sure its been finger fucked by everyone and their mom so maybe the lens on the camera was dirty.

yeah the resolution is nothing astounding with the ebay unit, but for what i need it for its a pretty great deal. I will say the cable isnt rigid or pose-able, but if you wanted a look in a gas tank or inside a tube, you could definitely use it for that.
I plan on using it one day this weekend to change out the plugs and remove that valve cover so if it makes that easier it paid for itself.
