Lego Headers Guys, i'm cheap and am looking for an alternative to the costly iceengine building blocks.
I've been in chat with a buddy who is a designer and he could come up with a very similar design and have it made to sell for about half the cost. If there was enough interest, i would do it. I would have it designed for 1 3/4 blocks.
Thoughts?

I've used the ICE stuff several times and absolutely love it. Unfortunately, its way too expensive and that's why I only ever had one kit. You basically need to plan on starting a business selling custom fabricated headers to ever justify the cost of buying more than one kit from ICE.
Their stuff doesn't make it incredibly simple, though. Pop off the section you made, mark it on a U-bend and put it in the chop saw/band saw.
