Need help marking and drawing saddle out Smile Need Help On something Different.
I was laid off form Halliburton a couple weeks ago. Trying for a different job and need a little help: I figure here is a good spot also:
Does anyone know how to make a saddle joint without using a template. It's measuring it out , drawing it on the pipe, with soap stone... cutting the saddle out and fitting onto the other pipe. First one is a 6x6 conc 90 degree T . The other is a 6inch pipe fitting and 8 inch pipe conc. 90 degree T. If anyone knows of the measurement, can you please help me out on this. I just need to know how to mark and draw the points out on the pipe to cut it.
