micrometers and bore gauges looking for input on what ones to get
dial bore gauges
not sure if the cheap ones are worth getting just want to be able to measure my own clearences
also a recomendation on rob bolt strech gauge havent started looking yet

The first one you show looks exactly like the one I just got from Summit for $110 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-900041 It seems to work well but you'll need a micrometer set to whatever bore you wish to measure in order to calibrate it.(you may already know this but I did not)

I picked up a used Starrett 224 multi-anvil micrometer on ebay for about $100. It covers 0-4" with the interchangeable anvils. I paired it with a Fowler 1.4"-6" dial bore gauge set (0.0005" gradation) that I got off Amazon for $110. They both work great.
