Hot rod tested a bunch of tq wenches a while back and the harbor freight click style ones were accurate enough for home use. Also their welding table for like 59.99 on sale isn't bad when assembled properly it is quite sturdy and folds away
^ what Travis said. There are several things I've bought from HF and had good luck with. I'd say the best purchases I've made from them were jackstands, welding table, welding cart, and some other little stuff.
Harbor Freight tools that I bought and love:
4"x6" metal cutting bandsaw
20" production drill press
link belts for above drill press
folding welding table
½" low speed high torque electric drill
⅜" and ¼" drive torque wrenches (I still use my Snap-On for important things)
welding cart
wall mounted tool cabinet
any of the pittsburgh sockets and extensions
metric tap and die set
115 pc cobalt drill bit set
4x36 bench belt and disc sander
hand-held orbital sander
heavy duty 4.5" grinder (blue model with paddle switch)
Things I bought and had issues with:
90 degree air die grinder - the head keeps coming loose during use, works otherwise. This still gets limited use.
¼" straight air die grinder - the paddle switch is defective and it spins as soon as air is hooked up. This got thrown out since it was only ~$10.
13" 16 speed floor model drill press - bad runout, sounded like it had rocks inside it, and spindle was not square to table. I returned this and got the 20" model above
6" bench grinder - doesn't have enough power to work well with a wire wheel. Not really an issue anymore since it has become my dedicated tungsten sharpener.
