Best pic I've got on my computer. I built this out of 2" square tubing. The top is 3/16" plate. I just bought a 4'x8' sheet and had the supplier cut it to 30" wide. I built the frame so the top would overlap an inch or so all around. It's on casters so I can move it out of the way of the door so I can get cars in and out of my back yard. I put expanded metal on the bottom to save a few bucks.

I think I spent $400 but that's with $70 casters.

I finally got my new stainless steel top put on. Now I don't want to use it, or put holes in it for my vise.

Thanks.

And I was able to hang up my other freebies from work, office cubicle shelves that I modified. Not the best, but I'm happy of the price, and finally getting somethings done in the garage.

Thanks.

Aww man! Yeah, I would NOT want to mess up that gorgeous SS surface either! LOL
BUT, however, it will be nice to work on, so a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do....

I have one of those stainless tables as one of my tables, they are actually pretty tough. you can always go back over them with a scotchbright in straight lines and it cleans them nicely. I picked one up off ebay one of those industrial kitchen prep tables. its not as deep as I would like but works well
