Looking at buying mig welder I am looking at buying mig welder as mine Was stolen it was a Harrington spitfire 200 dc.
Excellent machine but this firm no longer exists, there are plenty other makes though and I would say they are all very similar using same engines and generators .. I have seen one which caught my attention and that is a vanguard powered by propane but is cheaper to run ?
Also I was surprised to see that a 200 amp machine will only weld 8mm max

I’d check YouTube for brands reviews. Fourney (so) might be one. What kind of money are you looking to spend?
I have a couple of Millers (mig and tig) that I really like.
you can buy a good machine without spending a lot. You just need to do your research. YouTube videos on reviews is good. Try a GOOGLE search too

I'm partial to the older miller series with manual *****, like a millermatic 210. The newer inverter and touchscreen stuff doesn't seem to have the same reliability. Too many reports of circuit boards burning up.
