If you don't know what you're doing you will probably ony make it worse, try to find some traning tapes/DVD's and a junk car to practice on. JMO

I watched a "DentPro" man do his stuff one day and I was amazed. Most of the tools were very simple and you could make them yourself. The most unusual tool he had was a light-filter that stuck to the car with a suction cup. Apparently that softens the glare without blocking all of the light so you can see WTF you are doing. This trade is more the skill than the tools.
