If you use 2 smaller flat blade screwdrivers carefully to push in the white plastic collar into the slave, it will pop right out.
Sometimes they are a bitch & you need to push the line in to the slave & then push the collar in (a 3 handed procedure j/k)

I used a pair of neddle noise pliers and laid them opened up on the plastic ring perpendicular (90* angle) to the line and just pushed on the pliers. I have used this method about 5 times now & have perfected it. Takes be about 5 seconds to get that PITA off.

the correct tool is a fuel line disconnect tool. you can buy a whole plastic set from a parts store for $10.

I have a plastic set and an aluminum set from ww.harborfreight.com

That would be great if there was a fuel line on the bell housing. You can't use the fuel disconnect on the hyd clutch line. My buddy is a 11+ yr GM mechanic and he uses the needle nose plier method.

You shouldn't duplicate your tools. You should save your tool $ and buy sone good ol' Snap-On tools!

You should also work on an M6 car sometime. Neither set works on the clutch line.
