When I finished up my installs this weekend I had a hell of a time filling both the diff and the tranny on my vette. I used a small 4 oz. bottle to squeeze the fluid into both components. It took a while and I started looking for a small electric inline pump. Say 1/4" inlet and outlet. Plan is to stick on end in a bottle of ATF or gear oil. and plug it in and just pump it in. Question is..
Anyone do this? Anyone know where to find a small inexpensive inline pump for this purpose?
Thanks

Nah; I bought a 3 gallon plastic canister specifically designed for these chores; it does this stuff with a hand pump.
They are sold by JC Whittney and also Sears. About $70 - well worth the price. They will pump fluids in and out of engines, trannies, power steering pumps, brake reservoirs, rear ends, etc. They come with an assortment of differnet size hoses too.
The only pain is cleaning them if you are using them for both extraction and fill ups....
