I use AutoCAD, 3D Max/Viz, Accurender, for Architecture, and Rhino, Max, Inventor, and Pro-Desktop for mechanical. Where do you got to school and what is your major?(i'm a teacher at a vocational school). I've only tried sketch up but never have done a whole lot with it.

Go to a community college in eastern NC. Studyin Architectural Technology, but im hopin to head to East Carolina Univ and do Construction Management then minor in business.

When I worked for World Cat one of our engineers was doin some designs w/ Rhino. It looked like a really cool program. And SketchUp is really really easy to use. Altho it still needs some work w/ closing faces on circular or cylindrical objects. But for architecture its a great modeling tool.

I think mine is around 22x20. (Average 2-car size)
Bad pic, but you get the point.

What part is too small??

Do you store anything in there?

I think mine will end up with one section 40x15 for storage and washing(2 cars) and 25x40 for working on stuff.

After I put the partition in, your 2 car area turned into like 26'-4"

Btw, do you know what kinda roof you want? I put on a regular front gable roof, and a hip roof. Both using 2' overhangs. Used a brick exterior w/ concrete floors

I have no idea on the roof at all, but It'll probably be stick built with concrete floors.

Thanks again

Well, it doesnt have windows in or anything like that, its just a basic brick exterior, gable roof with regular stick walls and a concrete floor. Your dimensions are 40' x 40' with the detail/storage space being roughly 15' x 36'-8" with the main area of 26'-10x x 36'-8".

Here Ya Go

Ooops, noticed a typo. The main area is 26'-10" x 36'-8" roughly. Glad you like it. If you want anything more done to it, feel free to tell me and I can try to get it done depending upon the detail.
