Looking for a 220v tig welder
I'm going to recomend something I just put down my own money on and I have been researching for almost a year. For a little under $2300 you get a machine that does almost everything the Miller Dynasty 200DX does and is put together a little better than the Japanesse Thermal Arc (plastic casing turned me off to it).

I think is was a little under $2300 included everything except the bottle of sheilding gas. That includes a air cooled torch and they upgraded to a water cooled torch for no extra cost. The guy there was very helpfull probably spent an hour with me on the phone after hours and was extremely curtious. I was uneasy spending all this money and not buying a known brand like Miller or Lincoln but they have a 90 day no questions asked return policy. I also prefer to deal with a smaller company were I can ask for someone by name, and talk to a person here in America everytime I call. I also ended up getting their interter based plasma cutter an auto darkning helmet and a bunch of other little extras.
If you can't quite afford this right now I would honestly wait until you could because I don't know that anything else under this price segment is really worth it, that of course is just my opinion. There is also the buying used route and I would have done that except I wanted an inverter based machine and a warrantee.
