questions about installing a lift
questions about installing a lift the ground is level, the concrete is 14" thick (i know this is overkill, i just told them thick and strong when i had it poured) i have a rotory lift waiting for me to install.........what anchors are recomended to use?

go to a hilti dealer he will set you up, it will say in the instructions how long the bolts should be 5" in the ground i belive... anyway, he will rent you the hammer drill with the special bit and he will also have the bolts nut and washers.
i bought a hammer drill, like i need an excuse to buy another dewalt tool, bought the anchors, got 15 of the 16 installed. i hit rebar on the 16th grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. its about 4" down where i hit though, im gonna have to put it in and cut the excess when im done. thanks for the help though, another trip to lowes or home depot and i should be done (need bolts to mount the pump), bleed the hydraulics, and make some adjustments to the cables and we should be good to go.
3/4" 4-way expansion concrete masonry shields are what you need. Like he said, the Hilti Hammer Drill people can tell you how they're installed, what length bolts you need to lag the lift down to concrete floor, etc. The Home Depot people sell and usually rent Hilti hammer-drills and sell the masonry anchors, bolts, washers, etc. WJ
done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!started it about 2 this afternoon, had to make 1 aditional lowes trip. and now she is done, installed, wired, hydraulics are bled (needs to be topped off again, i ran out of fliud) but not too bad my first lift install and about 5 hours of actual work. would have been easier and gone smoother if i bought a new unit, but i got what you could call the deal of the century, no paperwork and about 8 black wires coming out of the pump motor, (no labels)
