Default Car fell off ramps

I thought it would be a good idea to grease of my bushings with some white lithum grease. So i start with the back and back it up onto the ramps, greased everything up all good. I put the ramps to the front and start pulling up on them and pull up to far 2 seconds later my car falls on top of the ramps. It bent the bottom of the front fendor out about an 1 1/2 or both sides. It looks like i will be able to hammer everything back straight. It still made me fell stupid and angry .

I've had some close calls with the ramps before, they tend to slide around a lot...

I hate ramps. Most of them are designed so shotty. I wish I could find a wide and long set of them so I don't have to line the car up perfectly or worry about driving over them. That stupid dip that most ramps have at the end to "secure" the tires is a joke. Any p.o.s. 4cyl can idle right over that dip.

Long live jack stands.

I hate those freaking ramps too!!...For one...the ramps are too weak....and with my Z....mind you its not lowered at all(stock height)...tends to scrape the front end on the sides as i put it up...so what i did i used two pieces of brick ...one on each side to give the car some more room when going up.......otherwise it will scratch the body on the sides...right bellow the foglights..........

You guys need to check out RhinoRamps. They work great with our "low-to-the-ground-wide-tire" cars. You can jack either end of your car up high enough to slide the ramps under the tires if you don't want to drive up the ramps. Capacity is way more than an f-body would ever need (they show Suburbans using the product on the advertising).

These have been a favorite around here and "the other board" for years. I have never heard of 1 failure with these.
