$800 is way more than I paid a few years ago when I got mine, but it was definitely over $300. If I ever needed to replace it, I'd probably try to find a less expensive one, but wouldn't want to compromise on the quality. I had only used shitty hydraulic jacks up until that point, and I'll never go back.
