Rubber boot for floor jack / jackstands I'm looking for a rubber boot cover to go on my jack/jackstands so I don't scratch up my subframes, etc..
Anybody know where to get some?
Mods, I wasn't sure where to post this so if it needs to be moved, please do so.

Re: Rubber boot for floor jack / jackstands Eastwood sells a replacement floor jack pad ( ( 1 3/16" center post ) for $19.99, I just bought ( at Tractor Supply Company ) a thick rubber truck mud flap and cut it to size. There enough to do the floor jack, all my jack stands and anything else I might want to use it for, you can use a heat glue gun to attach the rubber if you want.

Re: Rubber boot for floor jack / jackstands Alot of show cars I had worked on we did all kinds of stuff to keep em mark free. Take an old radiator hose cut size aprox. to jack stand , slice it down the side with a razor & put the "rubber" on the jack stand. The pad for jacks work well, you can also use an old towel too.

Re: Rubber boot for floor jack / jackstands hockey pucks work good. can be had at used sporting good stores if there are any near you. they're only a couple bucks each new.
