I just bought an air compressor from a local board member, so i'm in the air tool hunt. But I'll stick with expensive fittings.

Expensive is not the solution, quality is what is important. I use the Milton connectors, from NAPA, and they are reasonably priced and good quality. Also, try to stay with the more common styles, I use the type "D" , but check with your dealer as to the more popular style.

OK I'm in business ... and omfg my compressor (craftsman 33gal 6 hp oilless) is LOUD LOUD LOUD. There is no way in hell I can take it to my new spot (middle-unit townhouse with garage) or I would lose my lease!

It's even a bear at home, and we're a single family house with one house for a long ways ...

Any pictures of your compressor outhouses?
