I guess I'm the odd man out, I have the Hitachi WR18DL HXP 18v, only 160 ftlbs of torque but I like it's small size (it's a 1/2 in drive but real small so it fits easily around the engine compartment) switchable 2000-2600 strike per min. and 10 year tool warr. the big jobs get the 430 ftlb plug in Kobalt.

I just bought a new DeWalt after using the Snap on. I have to say the DeWalt is impressive.

Pro's
Price- Bought one new in the box for 175
Effective- it can do anything you want it to do

Con's
Variable speed trigger- I'm not a big fan of it, and still not use to it. Would rather be able have different tq settings
Socket lock- This is a pain in the *** when trying to remove socket

Even though I don't care for the trigger or lock, It is by far the best unit for the money. The battery life is good, the 1hr charger even better and this all was less than for half the cost of a new snap on. Best bang for the buck by far!

This thread got me interested in looking at cordless impacts. I found a brand called CMT that has an advertised 300ftlb rating on it, just like the dewalt, but is significantly cheaper. Ive never heard of the brand though so it makes me a little wary. Has anyone ever heard of this line of tools or had experience with them?
