Echo or Craftsman
Looking at buying a blower and a line trimmer...which would you guys recommend?
The ones I am looking at are fairly the same price. The Craftman combo would cost me $265. The Echo combo would cost $325, so over $60 I am not going to go with an inferior product.....So is Echo brand higher quality than Craftsman?

We machined the housings for the echo line trimmers- the castings were really nice and the tolerances on the bearing bores were +/-.0002" as I recall. Don't know about the rest of the trimmer, but that piece was pretty trick. I've been to their plant and it's top notch. Made in the USA, don't know about the Craftsman one.
