Default Sun Engine Performance Tester -Old School

My dad wants to get rid of this and I dont have the room for it. Does anyone know what this is worth? I know he said it has tons of options (for back in the day) that weren't often included. It is dusty from sitting in his garage for many years. It does have a cover, lower cabinet (on wheels) and a box on the side with many specs for 70's vehicles. He siad it was the poo back in its day. It has the optional ability to do cylinder leakage testing. I was thinking of putting this on ebay, but not really sure what its worth. Does anyone have any idea?

Ha! I have a Sun Scope setup just like that, taking up space in my garage. I've wanted to get rid of it but figured it wasn't worth anything. Chances are people want them as cool collectables. Time to take some pictures!!!

yup, I was thinking maybe for a movie set or something. My dad says that the leakage gauge can still be used for our cars. most of the other stuff can be found on most hand helds.

2 years ago I sold the most basic sun tester of that series, with just the tach and dwell guages, on ebay to a guy in England for $100. I thought I would only get $10 out of it. You just never know.

Looks like its in surprisingly good condition. Have you contacted Sun to see if they want it. Maybe they have a museum? not being a smartass, I'm being serious.
There has to be other museums or collectors out there that would want it.
I learned on one just like it in tech school back in the very early 80s. They were pretty old then!
Hell, I'd take it if I werent 3000 miles away.
UMMM......Free shipping?

Yeah, I was thinking along the same lines, maybe a movie/production house would want it for vintage props. I didn't think of contacting Sun. Good idea.
