What type of lights do you have in your box?
Just curious what kind of light everyone has in their tool boxes. I'm thinking about getting a nice one for my dad for Christmas and wanted suggestions.
I have:
Surefire Aviator
Surefire C3
Streamlight Stylus and Reach
and an el cheapo AA mag light and a Craftsman LED light.
I will say I'm disappointed in the Aviator, but the C3 is awsome! It will eat the 3 batteries in an hour though, so I have to limit it's use. What would be a nice light for a gift? Any others besides Surefire and Streamlight?

Buy an LED Light
Whatever one you pick, I suggest that you make it an LED light.
Sooner or later a light will get dropped or knocked around so you need something that will handle shock and vibration. The LED's are shockproof so wont break a filament to like normal lights do.
The LED lights give off no heat to speak of and have VERY low battery consumption rates.

I bought a small flashlight from snap-on, made by Inova- it was $105, but its bright as hell. I think the Inova model is X3. As a not, it takes 2 of the 123 3v batteries, and they're expensive (about $10-12 for 2)
