Default Made some cool ajustable stands.

I spent the day making 3 heavy duty stands to use under my lift. Ive got a few exhaust systems to build soon but I will be able to hold up just about any thing under a car. They will make great helping hands while working under a car. They extend to about 7 1/2 feet.

I bought everything needed at hardware store.
It consists of the following :
1 1/4" steel pipe drilled 7/16" hole and welded a 3/8 thread nut at the top. this pipe was welded to the base.
1" steel pipe with "c" channel welded on top
3/16 plate welded to some junk wheels
1/2" rod cut 4" long and welded to 3/8 bolts for hand operated set screws.

The 1" slides in the 1 1/4" pipe easily but not enough slop to more around.
I'm happy with how they came out. I can hand tighten the set screws and it does not slide down with me putting all 200lbs of my weight on them.
