bro you can get some sweet lights for next to nothing from Home Depot. Go take a look next time you get a chance. You'd be suprised.

The matco one is the best. Its basically a polo stick. Well not actually but it's a flouresent light in a plastic tube that like 3 1/2 feet long. It has claw at each end allowing you to clamp it to your hood. It's about $200. I don't have the part number though.

Outiftting the garage with large flourescent fixtures is the best way, but if ya gots to use portable lights, the halogens from Wal-Mart, Menards, or Harbor Freight work well. A mix of the tower ones, clamp-ons, and floor models are very useful.

I'm gonna do (6-8) 8' fluorescent ballasts in my new garage. That should be plenty of light for 441 sq ft.
