Default Ball Joint Tool

Check this out guys, it makes popping them out a whole lot easier. if you wanna try it a can tell you the parts needed. i dont know if anybody has done this int he past

The thing is that I still use a hammer most of the time.

what you just screw it on and bash it? I like my fork as well, but I have not needed it on the camaro just the stuff is still like new.

I use a BFH on the majority of ball joints I do at work. If that doesn't work then I use an Air hammer with a pickle fork adapter.

I use a pickle fork and a BFH but I've never seen something like that used. How do you use it?

Neat idea. Kent Moore sells a similar tool for major bucks that is almost like that. It does have fine threads though. Congratulations on your ingenuity.

At Ford we could not use hammers or pickle forks. Mazda makes a very nice ball joint tool that we used. OTC also makes one very similar but it doesn't work as well

Huh, any pics? the only OTC one that I know of is the c-clamp press type deal but that is for getting them out of control arms, not for separating the joints...

it works on most tie rods and ball joints. I like the Mazda one better though
