Bondo tomorrow any tips?

Default Bondo tomorrow any tips?

Well someone crashed into my 04 hyundia elantra.. insurance wrote me a new fender/light and bumper.. bumper bent back no paint missing light has alittle chip i fixed with silicone i bent the fender back and all the brackets today all it has is low spots and ****. plan on bondoing then having body shop paint it

Clean the surface really good with a degreaser, THEN sand it with some rough grit (36 to 80 grit) so the filler has something to grab on to. Then lay on the filler. Try to feather it out as far past the dent as possible, and the edge of the filler you should be able to see through the filler (after sanding). Use a good urethane filler. I like Evercoat's Polyflex, I got it at that paint supply shop on LaSalle just off the Circle. It's not cheap, but it's easier to work with than cheap Bondo and doesn't air pocket as badly.

thanks andrew ill make sure todo that.. wanna help me put my front struts/new springs on sometime?
