Does these things work? it says that it bleeds 2 qts per minute, that seems like good suction, no?

Should work. A little pricey though for home use. If I did brakes for a living I might buy one of those. I picked up this really cheap (>$10) bleeder kit from autozone. I was rather skeptical, but the damn thing works great. Basically anything that has an airtight seal on the bleeder and a one way valve works fine. Gravity does the rest.
I've used those at work before...not my favorite personally. They seem to pull air bubbles as they're sucking, so you don't really know if you're fully bled or not. I tried a regulator to slow down the vacuum pressure, but still get the air in the line. I've tried a bleeder that's made by Motive, that mounts to the top of the master cylinder and pushes fluid through...I like that one, and it's only about $70ish I believe as compared to $175ish.
