8 peice snap on screw drivers i bought some limited edtion 8 peice snap on screw drivers these bitches were 113.00 are them motha ******* crazy why are they so high the only reason i got um was cause i needed um during a job when mine came up missing at my bros old work, and then i needed a another test light cause mine got broke cogh by my bro and that ***** ****** was 79.00 im treid of snap o prices
Well, ****, when you're between a rock and a hard place, you gotta do what you gotta do. The good news is that you have top quality screwdrivers and will probably never need to buy them again....
snap on is getting to be a joke. unless you spend big money with a dealer he doesn't want to replace your broken items. i had one dealer tell me that he doesn't HAVE to replace broken things,he just does it as a courtesy to his customers. i'm not some punk kid who returns his craftsman socket cause its rusty,but when my socket's cracked i want a new one.
alot of snapon/matcos specialty tools can be bought on the internet w/out the huge dealer markup. take the milton air chucks. you can get them on the internet for 15-20 bucks. you buy it off the truck and its 80 plus tax.

That is a shame. I was on my way out to the track one night when I needed to stop by the mall to pick up something. I noticed one of my DRLs was out, so I picked up the bulb, then proceeded to buy an 8pack of screwdrivers for 4.99. I understand that quality tools aren't cheap, but the mark up is quite excessive, IMO.

Harbor Freight FTW!!! haha. I got a 20 piece screw driver set for 7.99. Magnetic, nice grips, hardened tips... They are great. I know some of the stuff there is junk...but Ive gotten a lot of good tools that have lasted me over 8 years now. Ive got a 20ton press from them that I paid $50 for on sale...and that thing has helped with more than 5 axle jobs, bent shifter handles, and who knows what else ive stuck in there...
Ill probably never buy from snap on. They have some tools that are really slick that I could probably use...but Ill get by without those $$$ suckers.
