Saftey First! I have seen a few posts where people describe various unorthodox methods of supporting their vehicle while working on it - wooden ramps, etc.
Frankly, some of these posts scare me. Safety is absolutely critical, and not to be taken lightly. This is the reason that I always use TWO 4x4's to support any vehicle that I work on. This way even if one 4x4 were to fail, I would still be fine!
